Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangioraphy and Planned Surgery for Obstructive Jaundice

Abstract
|
|
|
In biliary duct diseases, specially those with obstructive jaundice, Establishment of correct diagnosis is often difficult before exploratory laparotcmy.
Since Huard and Doxuan Hop(1932) had introduced Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography for the pre-operative radiological diagnosis of obstructive jaundice, the technique has been proved to be very useful and practical method in this field of diseases.
This report concerns about the clinical reviews(clinical-symptcros, laboratory data, results of Percutaneors Transhepatic Cholangiography and methods of operation) of 33 cases with obstructive jaundice and one with simple binary duct disease without jaundice.
